Hi, I’m an elite vocal coach. I work with singers in all styles, focusing on vocal technique and performance. I offer fast-track vocal development for young singers, singers in training and industry professionals. I train and mentor teachers of singing and songwriters and specialise in vocal rehabilitation.

I teach a variety of singing students, theatre singers, songwriters, voice teachers and industry professionals. I am currently a Lecturer in Singing at Pembroke College, Oxford and Director of the Embodima School of Singing. I teach in London, Oxford and online.
I am a music journalist and have written four books about singing (more about my writing). I have 30 years of experience teaching singing, working in schools, universities, Adult Ed programmes, choirs and in the West End (more about me).
I have a particular interest in teaching vocal anatomy and encourage singing from a bodily perspective.
